Editorial Standards
How we research, write, and correct everything published on LotStripePath.
Who writes this site
Content is researched and edited by the LotStripePath Editorial Team and published under that byline. We do not invent author personas, credentials, or job titles, and we do not claim legal, insurance, or inspection qualifications we do not hold. LotStripePath is an independent information publisher: not a striping company, not an equipment dealer, not an inspection service, and not a government agency.
How we source
Federal requirements are sourced to the bodies that own them, and we link to those sources directly: the Department of Justice's 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design at ADA.gov, the U.S. Access Board for accessible parking technical guidance, the FHWA's MUTCD for marking conventions, and the IRS for tax registrations. State-variable facts are handled differently and deliberately: where a requirement genuinely varies by state or locality, contractor licensing above all, we name the deciding agency and give you the exact question to ask it, rather than publishing a guessed answer.
What we refuse to publish
- Fabricated reviews, testimonials, ratings, customer counts, or success stories. We are a new publisher; until real customers choose to be quoted, no customer voices appear here.
- Invented statistics or unverifiable market numbers. Cost and price figures on this site are typical ranges or worked examples labeled as such, never earnings claims.
- Guaranteed-outcome language. Nobody can promise you contracts or income, and we do not.
- State-specific requirements we have not sourced. The deciding agency gets named instead.
Dates and updates
Every article carries its published date, and a visible updated date when it changes materially. The paid Launch Kit is a living document: purchasers keep permanent access to the current version through their original link, and corrections flow to everyone.
Corrections
If anything on this site is wrong, outdated, or misleadingly framed, email team@lotstripepath.com with the page and the issue. Corrections are made on the page itself, with the updated date reflecting the change. Agency names and links change occasionally; reports of dead or redirected links get the same treatment.
Monetization, disclosed
This site is funded one way: the one-time sale of the Striping Business Launch Kit. We sell no leads, take no commissions from insurers, equipment manufacturers, or paint suppliers mentioned in our content, and run no sponsored placements. If that ever changes, this page and the affected pages will say so plainly.
